Help

1. What happens if I am a new customer?

Once you complete your list and submit it to us, one of our hire controllers will give you a call to confirm the details. If you are a new customer we will need you to call into your nearest depot with some photographic I.D. with your address on it and two utility bills bearing the same address. Once we have these details there is no problem if you need to hire off us again.

2. How do I open an account?

To open a credit account click on 'create account' option above and fill in the form or give us a call and we will send you a paper copy. Simply supply us with your details and a few trade references and we will have the account open as soon as possible.

3. Can I hire equipment from one depot and return it to another?

Yes. We operate an open policy that allows you to pick-up equipment in one depot and leave it back to another. Perfect for people traveling long distances on their way home from work or for contractors with jobs on all over the province.

4. Can I have the equipment delivered?

Yes. We have a large fleet of delivery vehicles which are constantly on the move. Due to the costs involved we have to charge for this service and the price varies depending on how close you are to your nearest depot.

5. What happens if I damage the equipment?

Unfortunately any damage caused must be paid for. We do our best to keep our equipment in the best possible shape and so any damages are repaired immediately.

6. What happens if the equipment gets stolen?

You are responsible for the equipment you have on hire and should keep it as secure as possible. Please make sure that you are insured for hired in goods as you will have to replace it if stolen. For the larger plant we can now provide ramlocks which restrict the movement of the plant should anyone try to steal it. We do advise you to be extremely vigilant because plant theft is a major problem.

7. When do I have to return hired equipment?

You have until the same time the next day to get the equipment back to us, so if you hire it at 10.00am on a Tuesday for one day then we would expect to see you at 10.00am on the Wednesday. We do offer 2 days for the price of 1 over the weekend. If you hire equipment on Saturday morning we do not need it back until Monday morning.

8. If I need a specialist piece of equipment what do I do?

Give us a ring. If we know that you need a certain piece of equipment on a certain day, we will do our utmost to make sure it is available for you. Equipment is moved between depots every day to make sure it is where it is needed most.

9. Are there any safety precautions I should be aware of?

Yes. All of our equipment comes supplied with safety and user instructions. We advise you to read these and to make yourself aware of how the equipment operates before use. We also provide a guide of which safety equipment you should use and again recommend that you use this kit.

10. When do I have to pay?

All non account customers have to pay for the hire in advance. To make this as easy as possible we now accept Switch, Delta, Mastercard and Visa.
